Step 1 Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. Today,I will divide you into two Groups. You are Group A, you are Group B.
3. Play a game.

Let’s do again. “swim, swim, swim; run, run, run; sleep, sleep, sleep; read, read, read” Well done! Please look at me. What is Miss Long going to do? (The teacher yawns) Guess, please!
Ss: Miss Long is going to sleep.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1. T: Now, look at the screen. What is she going to do? (go to school)
Ss: She is going to school.
T: Yes. She is going to school. Read after me“going to school”(twice) Please answer me. What is she going to do?
Ss: She is going to school.
Then, ask some students to answer the question.
2. Show a picture of meat.
T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a piece of meat.
Teach “meat”“ea” /i:/,mea/mi:/,meat/ mi:t/

Teach “buy some meat” (twice)
Teach the sentence patterns: -What is she going to do?

本课时教学设计重难点突出,各个环节过度较自然。用肢体语言复习以前学过的动作单词,一下子把学生的注意力吸引过来,调动了学生的学习积极性,为接下来学习句型What is she going to do? She is going to do sth.做铺垫,新旧知识过度自然,学生容易理解。通过图片学习短语buy some meat,再运用于重点句型中,便于学生理解,然后采用pair work活动操练句子,设计较合理,但其他的词汇都用同样的方法的操练,太过单一,没有新意,可用学生表演,其他学生回答等方式可能会更好些。最后一个步骤,用精美的图片巩固本课所学知识,教学效果很好。
